Stepping Stones restarts Monday 18th May! Our last block went really well. After the normal 6 weeks had finished we had an informal drop in week where the Stepping Stones team met with the mums and children and had coffee and cakes. It was a great way to maintain and develop the relationships being built between the grafted team and the families that come along. It was great to see so many there! The week after we had planned to have a picnic lunch together but due to wet weather we had an indoor picnic in the No8 club. Again it was great to see a large number there and we had a lovely time chatting with the mums and children. Our Easter Eggstravaganza took place on Monday 6th April where we took part in lots of easter crafts, made easter egg nest cakes and had an egg hunt! With help from Mario our puppet we told the easter story and were really encouraged that most of the mums came into hear it!
Sadly, Mary, our key volunteer has been in hospital with gallstones and inflamation of the gallbladder so has been out of action for the last few weeks. We miss her terribly - please pray for her recovery.
Our final block before the school holidays in June starts 18th May and hopefully if the weather is nice we will be able to do lots outdoors.
Please continue to pray for the team and for each family that come along.
