Boulder Gang and Rock Solid Pirate Party
On Wednesday 15th we had some swashbuckling fun at the No8 club with the kids from Boulder Gang and Rock Solid Crew at our Pirate Party! 17 pirates, complete with pirate names came along and we had a fantastic time playing pirate games, and there was even some strange, but delicious pirate food on the menu including parrot legs and shark fin sandwiches! The party ended with a treasure hunt with bags of treasure for each pirate to take home! Check out the next blog with more photos from the pirate party!
Boulder Gang and Rock Solid Crew restarts on Thursday 27th August for another 6 week block. Please pray that each child will return refreshed after their school holidays and that lots more children will come along to learn more about the God of the universe who loves each one of them. Please also continue to pray for the team, Julie, Ste and Mary. :)
Deeper
Deeper has now finished for the summer, in our last Deeper we went bowling which was really good and fun. We will start again in Aug with new young people. In the middle of Aug I am taking some of the Deeper lot to Soul Survivor which hopefuly will see the young people get to know God more.
Stepping Stones Summer
With things being a little quieter over the summer - we decided to have a couple of drop in's with the stepping stones parents and little ones. On Monday we had a Summer Holiday Party (inside because of the rain!) But 13 children came along witht thair parents and had a fab time. We made sandcastles with flags, painted an underwater scene, had a BBQ and ice lollies.
We will be meeting for another drop in on the 20th July - please pray for each family that comes along that they will experience Jesus's love in a real way.
